Ingredients
500 grams minced beef 1 large onion, finely diced
300 grams carrot, finely diced 5 tbsp tomato paste
2 x 400 gram tinned diced tomatoes 3 tspn brown sugar
100 ml milk Olive oil
Method
- Heat olive oil in heavy based pan and sauté onion and carrot, until softened.
- Add minced beef and brown well.
- Add tomato paste and stir until meat, carrots and onion mixture are well coated.
- Add tinned tomatoes, brown sugar and milk and simmer slowly until required.
