To be used with an electric Italian pizzella iron.
Ingredients
6 eggs 12 tbsp sugar
12 tbsp olive oil Plain flour, as needed
Method
- Heat pizzella iron as per instructions.
- Whisk together eggs, sugar and olive oil.
- Add enough flour to form a “cake batter” consistency.
- Place a tablespoon of the batter in the centre of the iron and close lid.
Possible Variations:
Lemon add fresh lemon juice to batter
Chocolate add cocoa powder to the batter
